Astroturfed into insignificance?
With the recent revelations that the local Backing Fracking “supporters” are largely an engineered group of industry people with vested interests and PR firms, does this suggest that genuine support for fracking in Lancashire is now null and void??
With PR agencies implicated and confirmed as running support groups for shale, it is hard to see where any real support outside of industry exists for the big shale fail. It makes it abundantly clear that the number of real, local residents who are supposedly backing fracking is very small.
Having revealed themselves as being a haphazard collection of security guards, PR spinners, previous fracking firm staff and even an environmental expert whose company’s government contract required them to be neutral in approaching such a controversial topic, it seems likely that the pro-frackers questionable claims to being a self-appointed majority have now been totally discredited.

Speculating further then, after the many recent thefts of and trespass onto affected community’s property, with signage stolen and damage inflicted, could the culprits be located within this tiny manufactured fracking supporters club??
Interesting.
